Project Description: The work consists of removing the existing landscaping and irrigation in the median (clearing and grubbing); installing new irrigation system; removing selected trees and planting new trees; preparing the soil; planting new shrubs and ground covers; placing sod at selected areas; placing mulch; installing a decomposed granite maintenance band with plastic header board; removing concrete, asphalt concrete and cobblestone; and installing concrete walkway with wheel chair ramp.

The Engineer's estimated cost of construction for the base bid is $860,000, which includes an ACO amount of $100,000. The Engineer's estimated cost of construction for the bid alternative is $300,000, which includes an ACO amount of $30,000.
