| Project Description: | The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools,labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The primary scope of work includes removing and replacing approximately 80 lineal feet of an existing 21-inch cement mortar lined and coated steel water transmission main. The work also requires the construction of a 4-inch combination air vacuum assembly and 8-inch blow off assembly, replacement of an existing 2-inch air vacuum assembly, removal of an existing 8-inch gate valve, installation of cathodic protection with sacrificial anodes, thrust restraint, installation and removal of temporary chlorine taps and sampling points, shoring, excavating, dewatering, backfilling and compaction, the reconstruction of AC road pavement, barricades, traffic control, and all appurtenant related work. This is a non-prevailing project. Payment of a $50.000 nonrefundable fee for plans and specifications if mailed via U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, UPS or any other delivery service. The bid shall be filed with the Purchasing Division, First Floor of City Hall, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, California, which shall be endorsed with the Project Title, Bid # 12-0503 and MSC Number as it appears on the Notice Inviting Sealed Bids. | ||
