Hueneme Road Recycled Water Pipeline –Project work scope consist of the installation of 42-inch and 36-inch welded steel pipe (WSP) transmission system with capacity to convey recycled water from the Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF); work will include all associated valves, fittings and appurtenances. Some materials will be supplied by the City for this project work.

The City of Oxnard is implementing the Phase 1 Recycled Water Backbone System – Hueneme Road Recycled Water Backbone System –Hueneme Road Recycled Waterline Project. A comprehensive water resources effort to increase local water supply reliability and to meet the needs of a fast-growing population. The project will include the installation of 42-inch and 36-inch welded steel pipe (WSP) transmission system with capacity to convey recycled water from the Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) to potential users throughout the City and vicinity areas. Hueneme Road Recycled Water Pipeline includes approximately 10,700 feet of recycled water pipeline. The pipeline starts at the intersection of Perkins Road and Hueneme Road and runs along Hueneme Road to Olds Road. The pipeline will consist of open cut construction method and 373 feet of Jack and Bore at the railroad crossing and industrial drain.

Due to the long lead times for some of the materials, the City will supply part of the materials required for this project. Careful review of the bid items should be taken. The City has pre-ordered the 42 and 36-inch welded steel pipe (WSP), the 42 and 36-inch butterfly valves and various other transmission and distribution turnouts and appurtenances.
