||The Public Works Director will receive sealed bids via the Contra Costa County Public Works Departmentís Online Planroom at www.cccounty.us/planroom, until 2 o'clock p.m., on July 26, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened and read, for: Alves Lane Trail Crossing Improvements.
The Public Works Department has scheduled a Zoom meeting for the opening of bids. Bidders may participate in the public bid opening via Zoom. Virtual meeting instructions for the Zoom meeting can be found on the Contra Costa County Public Works Departmentís website at www.cccounty.us/pwprojects.
General work description: The work to be done generally consists of installing sidewalk, curb ramps, solar-powered rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) system, and pedestrian push-buttons, a raised crosswalk across Alves Lane, and striping and pavement markings at the Delta de Anza trail crossing in the Bay Point area.

You are required to subcontract a minimum of 25% of your bid in accordance with the Mandatory Subcontracting Minimum requirements within these special provisions.
A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom to cover project construction and the Countyís Bidder Outreach Program. Prospective bidders attendance is recommended but not mandatory. Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, may be viewed but not obtained at the Public Works Department, 255 Glacier Drive, Martinez, California 94553-4897, Monday - Thursday (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), and Friday (7:00 a.m. Ė noon and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.). Plans and specifications can be obtained via the Contra Costa County Public Works Departmentís Online Planroom at www.cccounty.us/pwprojects. A non-refundable service charge for bid documents is required in the amount of $30 (sales tax included). Shipping charges are extra, depending on the delivery method. The Public Works Department does not guarantee the arrival of the plans and specifications in time for bidding.
