Q: The Bid Schedules and Additive Alternate bids only have places to write in the Total Amounts in Numerals and Words for each schedule, there is not a place to enter the Total Bid Amount. Can the City add line items for the TOTAL BID in Numerals and Words so that at the Bid Opening everyone won't be having to do the calculations? 04/29/21

Q: Section 8.4 only makes the Contractor responsible for the surveying of Bid Items 3, A-3 and B-3 which is for Reset Survey Monuments, it is item specific. Section 7.7.2 Survey Services specifically states "The Agency shall perform and be responsible for the accuracy of surveying adequate for construction. Will the City be deleting this sentence? If not, then the City is responsible for surveying of everything except the Reset Survey Monuments item. 04/29/21
