This area is also intended to engage and offer children the opportunity to explore, use their imagination, and find ways to use these everyday materials themselves in many different ways. The idea is also to incorporate water within this area for learning, discovery, and for sensory benefits. The area should have natural materials like sand, rocks, and pebbles to play with and discover learning through natural resources. 09/01/21

Subject: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR El Corazon Park Site 1 Design "References" Posted by:Kymberly Laubach-City of Oceanside
Q: Page 8 of the RFP, under references, states that of the minimum of 3 references, 1 must include the City of Oceanside or Neighboring North San Diego County agencies if applicable. Does this requirement preclude qualified firms who have not recently done work in the area from submitting on the project? 08/27/21
2:48:29 PM
A: It does not. It is only saying you have to include them as a references if its applicable. 08/27/21
2:48:29 PM

Subject: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR El Corazon Park Site 1 Design "Site Survey" Posted by:Kymberly Laubach-City of Oceanside
Q: Is the City in possession of a survey, in CAD format, that will be suitable to use as an existing topography and utility base or will the consultant need to add that to their scope? 08/24/21
9:32:06 AM
A: For the El Corazon site, a survey was completed for the Aquatic Center which was site specific and was completed a few years ago so it would not help with the El Corazon Park Site 1. In addition, as mentioned in the RFP, the land being developed for the arena and parking lot is in progress but Moody's is currently still an active site so there is no guarantee the data will be useful. Therefore, it is suggested that the consultant will need to perform their own survey as part of this project. 08/24/21
