What is eBidboard™?
eBidboard™ is a Web-enabled data service to the public sector of the building and heavy construction industry. It virtually connects public agencies (project owners), general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, service providers and others engaged in the construction bidding process. Construction projects are posted and updated in eBidboard™ with comprehensive project information including electronic plans and specifications, bid items, and bid results. General contractors, subcontractors and other participants are profiled during registration and receive automatic new project posting notifications based upon their registered work interest profile. The project information database can be searched to locate projects, member companies as suitable bid partners, or cross-agency historical bid information. eBidboard™’s collaborative environment facilitates communication among all participants in the bidding process. It enables bid submissions by subcontractors, automatic project update notifications, posting of project questions and answers, and compliance with solicitations of Minority, Women, Disabled and Disabled Veteran, or Small Business Enterprises for good faith efforts required by law. Contractors are able to download project plans and specifications at a low comparative cost and with no time delay.
